Welcome to Refugi de Juclar
Refugi de Juclar is a staffed mountain refuge at 2,310 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Juclar glacial cirque, at the head of the Vall d'Incles valley, in the parish of Canillo, Principality of Andorra.
Set in one of the most rugged and spectacular alpine landscapes in the Andorran Pyrenees, the refuge is the ideal base and overnight stop for hikers, mountaineers and nature lovers exploring this privileged border area between Andorra and the French Ariège.
Outside these dates, an annexe — the free emergency shelter — remains accessible with 6 beds, free of charge, year-round.
Refugi de Juclar has modernised facilities: solar hot-water showers, outdoor eco-toilets, self-catering kitchen, blanket service and fishing licences for sale.
From the refuge, the view of Pic d'Escobes (2,779 m) is unforgettable. Surrounding it are Pic de Rulhe, the Pics de Juclar, Pic de l'Alba and Cilindre d'Escobes.

The surroundings
From the refuge, the view of Pic d'Escobes (2,779 m) is unforgettable. With its distinctive silhouette and steep slopes, it is one of Andorra's most beautiful mountains and the classic alpine objective from the refuge.
